CHEESE by GG
It's nice to hear from GG. Skittering over recent vinyl, voicemails and field recordings, all of the tracks were recorded live from a SP303 sampler straight to cassette. Over a period of about two weeks, GG produced and sampled, reflecting on the many tastes, stacking and stocking up for the future. A friend stopped by to watch the process unfold. A colleague recommended some out of print cassette tapes with meditations and poems. A relative said to make it noisier still. Family meals, Roquefort, old and new vinyl, special herbs and brew provided all of the inspiration for CHEESE.
